CONTEXT

The COVID-19 pandemic triggered widespread challenges, including the loss of loved ones, mental and physical health issues, and concerns about legacy planning. These challenges have created a need for solutions that can address the past, manage the present, and prepare for the future. MirrorMe aims to provide a holistic digital platform to help users cope with these challenges through AI-driven digital mirrors.

PROBLEM

Many individuals struggle with unresolved grief, ongoing health monitoring, and the desire to preserve their legacy. Current solutions are often fragmented, addressing only one aspect of these challenges, such as mental health support or health tracking. There is a need for an integrated approach that allows users to reconnect with their past, live healthier lives, and plan for the future in a cohesive manner.

Through design thinking, I identified three major pain points: loss and grief (past), mental and physical health challenges (present), and concerns around legacy (future). Trends such as digital avatars for reconnecting with loved ones and digital twins for future interactions informed the concept of MirrorMe, analyzing emerging technologies and user needs, envisioning a platform where users could relive memories, monitor their health, and leave a digital legacy.
